Dr. Oladunni Owo is currently the National President, Women in Energy, Oil and Gas (WEOG) Nigeria; Secretary, Women in Sustainable Power Africa Network (WISPANET), Global Women Network for Energy Transition (GWNET), Austria; member, Forbes Women Forum-Energy Group.
She is the award winning author of the book, ‘Blackgold Refinery Business Made Easy’ and has authored another book- ‘Modular Solutions’ (Unpublished). She’s an international corporate speaker and trainer, a versatile business expert and a management consultant with over 2 decades of vast professional experience in the Energy, Oil and Gas industry spanning the downstream, midstream, upstream and future energy. She has core expertise in business strategy development, industrial supply chain management, logistics and sales operations, project and developmental finance amongst others. Dr. Owo holds degrees in mathematics, management and theology. Her multidimensional learning has given her a very strong analytical prowess in designing business decision models, solutions and strategies for organizations.
As an international consultant and trainer, Dr. Owo has mentored several start-up businesses with major focus on corporate image and profitability, ensuring that the companies made good returns on investment (ROI) within a realistic timeframe. She has consulted for the public sector at various levels. She is a member of the Nigerian Content Consultative Forum (NCCF) and an Oil and Gas STEM trainer. She is a frequent Keynote speaker at Energy, Oil and Gas corporate events and has designed several industry based conferences, seminars, workshops, training and induction programs for organizations. Dr. Owo’s exposure to the upstream oil and gas business has given her rare opportunities to have participated in industrial arbitration proceedings and as such, possess operational knowledge of the subject matter of industrial arbitration. Her well-articulated business ideas would enhance the Institute’s industry engagements in respect of its industrial arbitration training for employees and general consultancy services.
Dr. Owo seat on the board of several organizations both at executive and non-executive capacities, thus contributing her bespoke expertise in strategic management to help organizations achieve their next levels.
