Dr. Edward Agbai is a dedicated Management Professional with background in Engineering and Organizational Change Management with over 20 years combined experiences in leading and managing operations and change management projects in the oil and gas industry. As an accomplished management consultant, he is results-oriented with strong Leadership, Project Management, Communication, Resource Management, and Conflict Resolution skills.

 Dr. Agbai holds a Ph.D. in Management with specialization in Leadership and Organizational Change. He is an Advisory Board Member, African Journal for Engineering and Environmental Research (AJOEER), an Academic at Emmanuel University, a Director of Research, International Institute of African Scholars (IIAS), World Association of Academic Doctors (WAAD, Country Representative Canada). Member of various professional bodies like the Project Management Institute PMI (Saskatoon, Canada), Nigerian Society of Engineer (NSE), and Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), and a licensed Financial Adviser with the Saskatchewan Insurance Council, Canada.

 He started his career in 2000 with Eni Nigerian, a major player in the oil and gas sector before joining Smart Alliance Consulting Services Ltd as Resource Partner. As Team Lead, he has experience in the coordination of operation and maintenance activities, project planning and engineering. His role as a resource consultant require transferring and applying experiences gained in operations and engineering into management consulting and research.

 Dr. Agbai, a prolific writer and author has extensively published articles in international learned journals. His quest for knowledge and professionalism has taken him on conference and workshop tours to Denmark, US, Hong Kong, Nigeria, UK, India and Italy. As a former labour union executive, Dr Agbai understands the power of industrial harmony to national economic development. He has a penchant for advocating for the rights of employees and creating an enabling work environment that will foster greater efficiency and motivation to increase productivity. He served as Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) and the Secretary to the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association (PENGASSAN) Brass Chapter for six years.
