This course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of arbitration proceedings, equipping students and practitioners with the necessary skills to excel in modern industrial arbitration environments. It provides an in-depth exploration of arbitration proceedings, focusing on the nature and issues surrounding arbitration awards, the powers of arbitration panels, and the processes for compliance and Appeals where Awards are not acceptable or fall short of equity and good conscience. It integrates the influence of Industry 4.0 technologies on arbitration practices, thus preparing students and practitioners for effective participation in industrial arbitration on disputes arising from digitally driven smart work environments.
