Membership Routes
The Institution has two routes to membership:
- Membership by assessment of records of service and performance
- Membership by professional examination and industrial experience
Membership by Assessment
The Institute’s membership by assessment program calls for nominations where interested candidates are required to download our membership form; complete, scan and forwarded same to the Institute dedicated email stated on the form for processing. The applicants are further directed on the various stages of their applications through their emails and phone numbers.
Applicants whose submissions are not adequate for our fellow or corporate member grades are advised to proceed to the Institutes Membership by Professional Examinations (MPE) route; by applying for our mandatory online training for the Associate of Industrial Administrators (AIAdm) or Associate of Industrial Arbitrators (AIArb) programs. Successful candidates are further informed of the Institute’s membership induction program which is a crucial component of the Institute’s International Annual Conference.

Membership by professional examination
Institute’s Professional Masters and Doctorate Degrees are available for holders of Bachelor degrees and Master degrees, respectively from recognized institutions who have held top positions in organizations with well-defined carrier paths for industrial administrators but are desirous to acquire specialized professional qualifications to enhance the marketability of their knowledge and skills and raise the standard of their industrial practices. Such interested candidates can document their personal post Bachelor degree work experiences and present same as technical reports in the format that shall be provided to them by the Institute. The report shall be based on their personal contributions to the field of industrial administration and industrial arbitration, as the case may be. Such candidates shall furnish appropriate technical reports or papers in selected areas of industrial administration and industrial arbitration. The papers shall be of high quality and publishable in the Institute journals or any other high impact journal.
