Prof. Jumbo is a Distinguished Fellow of the Institute. He is the Institute’s Director-General and Chief Executive Officer. He holds several academic and professional qualifications in management, administration, engineering and law.
Industrial Arbitration proactively sets the agenda with regard to preventing or settling disputes that may arise between industrial employers and employee representatives with a view to preventing unnecessary legal actions.
This results in lower costs and eliminates unnecessary downtime. When viewed from any perspective, the benefits are enormous, ranging from a reduction in strikes or legal actions to healthy work environments. It gives the employee better bargaining power and prevents layoffs, thereby creating sustained relationships between the employer and employee.
